“Working on the building” fu registrata per la prima volta dai Heavenly Gospel Singers il 22 giugno 1936 intitolandola “I am working on the building” per l’etichetta Bluebird.

Un gospel bellissimo. Mi è sempre piaciuto in tutte le takes da cui è composto. Si sente che Elvis era in palla fin dalle primissime prove!!!

Peccato non l'abbia mai proposto live.. avrebbe spaccato come credo anche RUN ON, altro pezzo Maestoso in tutti i sensi!!!!
